Zanaco Football Club striker Roger Kola is expected to return to training next week after a two-week injury layoff.

Kola sustained an ankle injury during the 2021 ABSA Cup quarterfinal match against Kabwe Warriors played on 14th March.

Zanaco team Doctor Mathews Kabundi has told Zanaco FC media that Kola’s stitches on his ankle will be removed on Wednesday.

“The stitches on his ankle will be removed tomorrow, Wednesday and he will start training next week,” Dr Kabundi said.

Kola is currently the top scorer in the FAZ/MTN Zambia Super Division 2020/2021 season with 11 goals.

Zanaco’s next match is on 3rd April against Zesco United away in Ndola.
