Sensational Zanaco FC head coach Wedson ‘Wada Wada’ Nyirenda has promoted six (6) Young Zanaco players to the senior team.
Nyirenda told Zanaco FC media team that; Emmanuel Zulu(Striker), Elijah Kondowe(Midfielder), Mwenya Mwape(Defender), Thomas Banda (Midfielder), Gift Kapambwe (Midfielder) and Charles Ngangula (Defender) will be training with the senior team to enable them adopt the team’s philosophy and to be assessed further.
“We saw the potential in these boys from our junior team and decided to bring them to the senior team in order for them to adopt the team’s philosophy and just to have more time with them for further assessments. he told the club’s media team.
There are also other good players that we did not pick because we only wanted to have a workable number, but everyone who is showing potential will be given a chance to prove himself at the senior team” , he added.
The Bankers have continued with their model of tapping talent from their developmental team.
Players like Ziyo Tembo, Racha Kola, Charles Zulu, Mangani Banda, Dave Daka and many others who went to become big players in the league have all come through the club’s ranks.
