Head coach Kelvin Kaindu says his lads are ready for Al Merreikh.
Zanaco plays Al Merrrikh in the first round,first leg of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League in Egypt at Al Salam Stadiam.
We are aware of what our opponents are capable of.We have respect for them.We have prepared well and we are ready, ” Kaindu said.
Kaindu is confident that his 20-man squad will do the job.
You can never have a complete team.There would be probably one or two players that will not be available but I am optimistic that the players available will do the job, he said.
Meanwhile, Zanaco captain Ziyo Tembo has says they will not underrate their Sudanese opponents.
It is a big team which we respect. We will not underrate them.We are ready physically and mentally, Ziyo said.
The return leg is slated for 23rd October 2021 at National Heroes Stadium Lusaka.
