Zanaco beat Eagles by 2 goals to nil today afternoon at Sunset Stadium thanks to goals from Chitiya Mususu and Rodger Kola in the 12th and 53rd minutes respectively.
Speaking in a post match interview head coach Mumamba Numba said it was a tough match.
“We used experience. We played a very determined team but we utilized the chances that came our way and that made a difference in today’s game.” He observed.
Numba added that the team needs to fight not to drop points so that the goal is achieved.
He also noted that today’s victory is good motivation to the players and club at larger after losing to Zesco United last Saturday.
“This is a good motivation to us especially after losing to Zesco last Saturday. It will motivate us as we go to Mauritius to play Bolton City for the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round.”
