ZULU RELISHES RETURN

Zanaco FC’s speedy Winger Charles Zulu says he is happy to be back on the pitch again and he is ready for this season as well as looking forward to add more goals to his game.

Zulu who had been off the pitch for close to a year due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear injury is back to playing and marked his return during the International Friendly match against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa on the 24th of July this year and was also part of the squad that won the 2019 Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield showing flashes of his old self in both encounters.

“I would like to thank the Almighty God for healing me. It is a great feeling to be back on the pitch.”

He also adds that the healing process was not an easy one but that he managed to fight and found himself back on the pitch.

“The healing process took long and it was not easy, a few frustrations here and there, but here i am, playing again which is what i wanted.”

He further added that he wants to play well and score more goals this season as compared to seasons before.

“I want to score more goals this season because that’s my job. I want to play my best season yet.”
