ZANACO FC MANAGEMENT MEET TO DISCUSS SAFETY MEASURES

Sensational Zanaco FC management will be meeting at Sunset Stadium this afternoon to strategize and discuss safety measures to be put in place in readiness for the restart of the league.

The meeting has been facilitated in order to come up with measures that will at least meet the minimum requirement.

Zanaco FC General Manager Marlon Kananda feels very safe about the resumption of football activities amid the coronavirus crisis.

“I think it is safe for the league to resume as long as safety measures are put in place to safe guard the players and officials.” Kananda said

“The meeting we are having will discuss the measures that we need to put in place, we shall make sure that we put in place measures as guided by the Ministry of Health and the Football Association Zambia.” He said

When asked about security and how the club would make sure that all matches are played under closed doors.

Kananda said “We shall ensure that security is tightened, we dont want to be penalised because we have not put things in place.

We will also call upon our fans to follow the guidelines given.”

“This is a step in the right direction, so we should continue being patient and calm as the league resumes under the new normal guidelines.” He added

Teams will begin training in small groups on July 1.
