Goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata has issued a farewell message to Sensational Zanaco Football Club after he confirmed his exit on Wednesday morning after taking part in what he described as his final training session at with Zanaco FC.

Nsabata, joined Zanaco from Nchanga Rangers in 2015, but opted not to extend his stay the club after the expiry of his previous contract.

“It has been five incredible years at this great club, whatever goes up must always come down, the time has come, it is hard to leave, but i have to say goodbye, he told Zanaco FC media.

“I gave in my very best during my time, I hope my contribution made a difference to the success of the club.

Wherever my next stop will be, Zanaco will always be in my heart and I will always cherish every success we achieved together as a team.

“I thank Zanaco FC management for giving me an opportunity to join this great team, I will always be grateful to them, thank you once more.

“To all my team mates, we became a family, I will cherish our union for many years to come and I know we will meet again in the football world.”

“To all the coaches that I’ve worked with during my time at the club, thank you coaches, other members of the technical bench and the backroom staff .

“Lastly, I want to salute the Red/Black Sensational faithfuls, the fans, you really motivated us and made us believe we could win everything at any level.

“My heart is heavy and I can’t hold back my tears, but I just have to accept that my time is over.
Thank you all for being very special.”

Meanwhile, the club’s General Manager, Marlon Kannada has thanked Nsabata for the services he rendered during his stay.

“We would like to thank Nsabata for the services he rendered during his stay at Zanaco Football Club and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” Kannada Said

He also added that the club would have loved to continue its relationship with Nsabata.

“We would have loved to continue our relationship with Nsabata but when a player opts to leave there’s nothing we can do but let him go and wish him all the best.”
