Zanaco Football Club Head Coach Mumamba Numba has declared his lads ready for DC Motema Pembe.

“Looking at the response from the players since we started preparing for this game, there is positivity from everyone. They are all putting in their best to make sure that they’re ready.”

When asked about whether the publicly held perception that teams from DRC have the tendency of trying throw off opponents using tactics that capitalize on superstitions, Numba stated, “The team we have  is an experienced side, I think the players have played to their highest level in Africa and I think they are able to handle anything that comes their way even superstitions. They are very aware of such antics and are more than mentally prepared.”

He also adds that the absence of Ziyo Tembo who is not part of the team due to an illness will not affect the team.
“We have players in place that are equal to the task, and I think they will handle everything positively,” Numba said.
