With the FAZ/MTN Super Division on recess due to the FIFA international and 2021 ABSA Cup break there has been scarcity of action when it comes to local football.

Zanaco Football Club Head Coach Chris Kaunda says the break will have positive and negative impact on all teams.

“The break will give us time to work on our mistakes and also time for players that are injured to recover fully but also it will affect the rhythm of teams,” Kaunda said.

“We have been training on the pitch and also in the gym. We want everyone fully fit as the league resumes.”

Zanaco football club who are currently occupying 2nd position on the FAZ/MTN Super Division log will resume their league campaign on 3rd April when they play Zesco United in a Week 22 encounter away in Ndola at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

“Zesco United is our target now, they’re our obstacle standing in our way and we have to push through to get to the top because that’s where we want to be,” Kaunda said.
