2019/20 CAF CONFEDERATION CUP GROUP STAGE DRAW

The draw for the group stage of the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup will be held on 12 November 2019 at CAF’s headquarters in Cairo.

All the 16 qualified teams will be seeded according their to performances in the CAF competitions for the previous five seasons (CAF 5-Year Ranking).

Qualified teams will be distributed into four groups.

Each group will contain one team from Pot 1, one team from Pot 2 and two teams from Pot 3.

In the group stage, matches will be played on a home-and-away round-robin basis.

The winners and runners-up of each group will advance to the quarter-finals of the knockout stage.

The top four ranked clubs

POT 1

Haroya (Guinea) – 30 points, RS Berkane (Morocco) – 28 points, Enyimba (Nigeria) – 16 points, Al Masry (Egypt) – 12 points.

The next four ranked clubs

POT 2

Hassania Agadir (Morocco) – 10 points, Zanaco (Zambia) – 6 points, Enugu Rangers (Nigeria) – 5 points and Djoliba (Mali) – 2 points

The remaining 8 sides

Pot 3

Paradou AC (Algeria), ESAE (Benin), DC Motema Pemba (DRC), Pyramids (Egypt), San Pedro (Ivory Coast), Al Nasr (Libya), FC Novadhidou (Mauritania), Bidvest Wits (RSA).
