We are thrilled to officially receive Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment from the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).
The FAZ Technical Director, Lyson Zulu, handed over the equipment to Zanaco FC CEO Modest Hamalabbi, Zanaco Ladies Head Coach Florence Mwila, Ladies Assistant Coach Grace Mwango, Senior Men’s Team Assistant Coach Henry Banda, and Physical Trainer Ziyo Tembo. The GPS equipment has been allocated to the men’s and women’s teams.
During the handover, Mr. Zulu provided a comprehensive system overview, emphasizing the exciting potential of the GPS equipment to empower players, coaches, and clubs. He highlighted that the system will deliver crucial data to monitor and enhance holistic performance, sparking optimism and anticipation for the future of our teams.
This advanced technology will allow the coaching staff to accurately monitor player workloads, identify potential injury risks, and optimize training sessions.
The data collected will provide valuable insights into player performance, allowing for more data-driven decision-making and personalized training programs. By enhancing player performance and reducing the risk of injuries, this technology will contribute to the long-term success of both our men’s and women’s teams.
This technology will give us a significant edge in player development and help us achieve our goals domestically and internationally.
We thank the Football Association of Zambia and the Zambian Premier League for this groundbreaking initiative. Such advancements will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and improvement of Zambian football.
