FOREST PREPARATIONS GOING ON WELL-LOMBARD
Zanaco Football Club Defender Tiberius Lombard says preparations for the next match against Forest Rangers Football Club are going on well.
“It will not be an easy game against them. They’re quite a good team and for us to beat them we need to work extra harder.”
Lombard says that the next encounter is a must win, especially that the team is coming from a draw and the team should work extra hard this time.
“We need to collect maximum points this Sunday, we can’t afford losing points.”
Zanaco is ranked on 9th position with 7 points after 6 games in the 2019/20 Football Association of Zambia MTN Super League.
The team also has a CAF assignment on the 27th of October as they take on Cano Sport Academy of Equatorial Guinea in the CAF Confederation Cup pre-group stage first leg in Equatorial Guinea.
Lombard also adds that CAF assignment will not distract the team from this Sunday’s task against Forest
“We are not under pressure, our main focus now is the Forest game, we need to get the work done and make sure we do a good job then after that we can concentrate on the CAF game.”
Zanaco hosts Forest Rangers in a week 6 fixture at Sunset Stadium this Sunday 20th October at 15:00 hours.
