Zanaco Football Club striker, Araina Lambert has today signed a two-year contract extension, committing his future to the club as it continues to strengthen its squad for upcoming competitions.

The extension reflects the club’s confidence in the Cameroonian’s abilities and his importance to the team’s attacking force.

Since joining the Bankers, the forward has shown consistency, determination, and a strong work ethic, qualities that have earned him the trust of the technical bench and management.

Lambert has registered 13 goals since joining the bankers two seasons ago.

Speaking on the development, the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Owen Chimpinde expressed confidence in Lambert’s continued growth and contribution to the team.

He encouraged the striker to maintain his focus and discipline, emphasizing that his hard work plays a crucial role in the club’s broader ambitions.

“He has shown great commitment, and we expect him to continue working hard.

His contribution is key to our ambitions, especially as we aim to compete strongly in CAF competitions,” the CEO said.

Zanaco Football Club remains focused on building a competitive squad capable of performing at both domestic and continental level, with the CAF stage firmly in sight.

With this extension, Lambert is expected to play an even bigger role as the Bankers push to reclaim domestic dominance and secure qualification for continental football.
