Zanaco Football Club will tomorrow, Thursday 12th March 2026, make the short trip to Edwin Imboela Stadium for a Week 23 fixture of the MTN Super League.

Last weekend, the team was scheduled to play Kabwe Warriors on Saturday at Railway Stadium in Kabwe, but the match was postponed due to a heavy downpour that left the pitch unplayable.

Head Coach Mumamba Numba says after the postponed game in Kabwe, the team immediately focused on preparing for the next match.

“We have prepared well. This is another hurdle for us. It’s never an easy game playing away at Edwin Imboela. It’s a tough pitch to play on and win games. We were there a few weeks ago and managed to get a win against Nkwazi, so we will try to build on that.” Numba said.

Numba also confirmed that most players are available for selection.

“Araina Lambert is back in the squad and ready for selection. Unfortunately, we will miss Frederick Mwimanzi, who is on loan from Green Buffaloes and cannot play against his parent club.” Numba said.

The first round result saw both teams sharing spoils with a 1-1 draw in a match that was played at Sunset stadium.

Kick-off at Edwin Imboela Stadium is scheduled for 15:00 hours as Zanaco look to continue their push in the MTN Super League.
