Linos Chalwe: Technical Director, Zanaco Football Club Zanaco Football Club is
pleased to introduce Linos Kabwela Chalwe as our new Technical Director. A
transformative leader with over a decade of experience in football administration,
Chalwe brings a “360-degree” understanding of the industry—from elite
international competition to strategic club operations.
A former Zambian National Team forward and participant in the 2006 Africa Cup
of Nations, Chalwe’s playing career spanned top-tier leagues in Zambia, South
Africa, Tunisia, and Belgium. Following his retirement from the pitch, he
distinguished himself as a visionary executive, building a major football players’
union from the ground up and mastering the complexities of contract
negotiations, player welfare, and youth development.
Holding CAF B Coaching qualification and currently pursuing his CAF A License,
Chalwe is uniquely positioned to oversee Zanaco FC’s technical philosophy,
recruitment strategies, and long-term sporting growth. His mission is to leverage
his robust global network and disciplined military background to drive sustained
commercial and on-field success for the “Sensational” Zanaco FC.
