Zanaco FC Head Coach says the team is focusing on getting back the confidence of winning at home.

“We host Lumwana Radiants tomorrow and we want to start picking up maximum points when we are playing at home. It is an important game as we are coming from two draws in a row.”

Kaindu says the teams main weakness has been the inability to convert chances.

“In all the games we have played,we’ve been creating chances but failing to convert and it’s being worked on. If only we can start converting the chances then well and good. I am certain they we will see some change in tomorrow’s game.”

He also adds that Lumwana has been good and Zanaco will not underrate them.

“Lumwana is a threat and is here to compete,we are very focused. Complacency and approach has been worked on and we are ready.”

Zanaco will be without Captain Kevin Owusu who is serving a one match suspension due to the Red card he got in the last match.

Isaac Shamujompa and Eric Owusu are out nursing minor knocks.

Wilson Chisala and Dalitso Phiri are in camp with the Zambia Mens U23 National Team and will not be part of the team tomorrow.

With these players missing Kaindu says there is enough depth in the team.

“Boyd Musonda has been fantastic playing as a center back and the youngster Christopher Muhango who was fantastic last season will be able to cover up the gap that Owusu has left.”

Zanaco host’s Lumwana Radiants tomorrow at Sunset Stadium in a Week 8 fixture of the 2022/23 MTN Zambia Super League.
