Sensational Zanaco FC likely to be drawn against heavyweights as seeding for all the four pots for the 2021/22 Total Energies CAF Confederation Cup group-stage draw have now been confirmed.
Based on the current CAF club rankings, the Bankers have been seeded in Pot 3 along with Al Masry (Egypt), JS Saoura (Algeria) and ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast).
The draw is set for Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at (11:00 GMT), 13:00 (CAT) at CAF Headquarters in Cairo with the group stages games scheduled to get underway in February.
Zanaco will go into the group stages draw facing the prospect of coming up against some of the heavyweights of the competition that includes TP Mazembe (DRC), RS Berkane (Morocco), Simba SC (Tanzania), Sfaxien (Tunisia), Pyramids (Egypt) and JS Kabylie (Algeria).
Note that, teams in the same Pot cannot be drawn together.
