Zanaco Football Club head Coach Chris Kaunda says the team is ready for the 2020/2021 FAZ/MTN Super Division Season.
The FAZ/MTN Zambia Super Division 2020/2021 season starts this weekend with the first fixtures kicking of on 31st October with Zanaco playing their first game against Indeni Football Club.
Kaunda says preparations have been going on well for this coming season.
“Preparations have been going well since August when the team resumed training. We took part in the Big Six tournament in September and since then we have been having friendly games which has helped in preparing for this season and our players are ready.”
He adds that there is competition amongst players and each one of them has been putting in their very best during training sessions and friendly games.
“The players have been working very hard and are competing amongst themselves which is what we want to see even as the season starts we would like them to continue like that,” Kaunda stated.
Zanaco Football Club hosts Indeni Football Club this Saturday at Sunset Stadium at 15hrs(CAT). The match will be played in an empty stadium, in line with the new FIFA/CAF guidelines in the wake of CoViD19.
