Zanaco Football Club General Manager, Marlon Kananda says Young Zanaco will play the remaining two fixtures following FAZ guidance to lower-division leagues to play two more games and conclude the 2019/2020 FAZ Provincial League.
Kananda met the players and officials of Young Zanaco yesterday 27th August 2020 at Sunset Stadium and assured them of full support in the remaining fixtures as they complete in Division one Lusaka Province and produce players for the senior team and other teams.
Young Zanaco’s next two fixtures are the week 21 away fixture to Young Green Buffaloes and week 22 home fixture against Riflemen.
“You will play the two remaining fixtures as directed by the Football Association of Zambia and as a club, we will give you our full support as we have always done. As a club we want you to win your remaining games so we expect you to put in your very best as well.” Kananda said.
He also shared the vision of the club with players and officials so that they all move in one direction with the senior team’s goals in the future. He indicated that Young Zanaco will continue to be a feeder team to the senior team.
Kananda encouraged the boys to continue working hard and fight to break into senior teams.
Young Zanaco currently tops the Log standings in Division one Lusaka Province with 44 points having played 20 games, 10 points ahead of second-placed Young Buffaloes.
