WE ARE READY FOR BERKANE – NUMBA
Zanaco Football Club Head Coach Mumamba Numba says the match between Zanaco and Berkane is very important.
“Coming from a one all draw in Congo, it is important that we work hard in this next match and collect the desired points.
Numba says Berkane is a team that should not be taken lightly.
” Our opponents won their first match and they were runners up in this competition last season and that alone tells us how good they are. We have to work hard”
Zanaco hosts RS Berkane of Morocco tomorrow at Heroes Stadium in the Confederation Of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup Cup match 2 at Heroes Stadium, Lusaka Zambia.
He also adds that preparations have been done well for this game.
“I think we have done our best to make sure everything is ready and we are going into this match to fight to get a win because that will put us in a better position to qualify to the quarter finals.”
Midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu will miss tomorrow’s match due to a Red card he got in Congo and Numba says that there’s enough manpower to fill in his gap.
” We will miss Kapumbu, he is one of our valuable players but we have other guys who can deliver in his position.”
And team captain Ziyo Tembo says the team will fight as one.
” We have to be offensive in this game. We will use our strength and attack more so that we get goals.
Tembo also called upon soccer fans to come out in numbers to support the team.
“The fans are important to us and play a big role more especially that we home tomorrow, we are representing mother Zambia so let them come in numbers and help us get positive results tomorrow.”
