official draw for the CAF Champions League Group Stage & Confederation Cup Play-offs will take place on Wednesday, 9 October 2019 at 19:00 hours local time at the Hilton Pyramids Resort in Cairo, Egypt .
The 16 winners of the first round advanced to the play-off round of the CAF Confederation Cup and will be joined by the 16 losers from the Champions League first round matches.
With 15 out of 16 teams relegated from the Champions League already decided for the pre-group stage of the Confederation Cup after second leg matches at the weekend.
The other slot involving Zamalek (Egypt) and Generation Foot (Senegal) which was played in Alexandria on 29 September 2019 will be decided in the coming days after a CAF relevant body rule over the game.
