On Wednesday 25th September, Zanaco Football Club paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Child Development. Zanaco FC General Manager Marlon Kananda congratulated Honorable Emmanuel Mulenga, MP on his appointment as Minister.
Speaking when he presented the Minister with the Zanaco home jersey, the General Manager stated, “On behalf of the Club and indeed my own, I would like to congratulate you on your appointment. As Honorable Minister, you’re a supporter of all sporting disciplines in this country and that makes you a fan of Sensational Zanaco. It is my honor to present you with our official home strip.”
Hon Mulenga thanked Zanaco FC for paying a courtesy call on him. He wished the Club well in all its endeavors. He further stated how his ministry is working tirelessly to ensure that the necessary support is rendered to the sporting fraternity in Zambia.
“Thank you very much for your congratulatory remarks as well as passing through my office. I accept this replica even as I wish Zanaco FC all the best in all you do,” said the Minister.
This is the first time that Zanaco FC has met with Honorable Mulenga who took over from Honorable Moses Mawere, MP at the helm of the Ministry.
