ZANACO SIGN PROMISING HAPPY HEARTS DEFENDER
Sensational Zanaco Football Club has completed the transfer of young promising Chilenje Happy Hearts Centre-Back, Golden Mafwenta.
The 18-year-old defender finalised his permanent move to Sunset from Happy Hearts upon completion of medical examinations.
Mafwenta had an impressive pre-season after proving himself as one of the promising players during the Chipata and Copperbelt camps.
His performance in a friendly match against Buildcon after being named in the starting line-up in absence of regular and experienced defenders earned him a move to Zanaco FC.
“We are very excited to have signed Golden from Chilenje Happy Hearts Academy, he proved himself well to the entire technical bench during the two pre-season training camps.” said Zanaco FC head coach Mumamba Numba.
