CHARITY SHIELD CHANCE FOR REVENGE-TAONGA
Zanaco Football Club takes on Zesco United this Saturday 17th August at Woodlands Stadium in the Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu Charity Shield final.
Sensational defender Taonga Bwembya says this Saturday’s curtain raiser to the 2019/2020 FAZ/MTN Super League season is an important match for the team and winning is a priority.
‘’It is a very important match for the team after being off competitive assignments for a while. We need to start on a good note by winning. We are taking it very seriously, and we need to get a positive result on Saturday.”
Bwembya says the team has to revenge the 4:1 loss that they suffered in Ndola against Zesco during the ABSA finals.
“Of course we have to revenge the loss that we suffered in Ndola more especially that now we are playing in Lusaka.” said Bwembya.
He adds that Sensational now has a well-organized team which he believes is capable of competing against any team and collect positive results.
“We have made a lot of positive changes around the team. New players have been brought in and the technical bench has been boosted with a physical trainer and another coach, I believe that they will all add value to the team and that we are in a better position to win on Saturday.”
The match kicks off at 15:00 hours.
